I hang out on a 31 acre pecan orchard in southeast New Mexico. I do much of the maintenance of the equipment and help the owner who is in deteriorating health. Tractors are Fords: 8N, 230A, 3600, and 5030. Tree shaker is an Orchard Machinery with a JD engine. Pruning tower is the only new piece of equipment on the place.
And now my nephew has purchased 122 acres with a $million view of the Sangre de Christo mountains in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. It came with a Satoh 650g with what appears to be almost new loader and blade. It has sat out for some time and I am in the process of seeing if I can get it running.
