I saw something like that before. I keep thinking how useful one of those might be for cutting the ditches. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I hate cutting those stupid things. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Shouldn't that tractor have some sort of counter weight? It seems to me that the tractor is quite susceptible to tipping over. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

That tractor is plenty heavy enough to handle that small of a cutter. Only time it might come into play is if he is on a steep slope and spreads the wing out the downhill side.

I agree with robert.

I consider buying a TL rather than a TN and found the biggest difference is weight. A TL80 is about the same hp as TN75 but a lot more weight, almost 1 ton.

That TL90 is 7936 lbs without loaded tire, a loader, or any attachments.

As the others have said the tractor is plenty heavy, plus it's also got rear wheel weights installed.

The Burlington Northern Sana Fe train line has a cutter just kind of like that!! But it is a dual, two men run it, one for each side and it is much bigger. The DOT in Minnesota has one about that size on a truck but the boom is a lot longer for clearing some of the scenic roads along Lake Pepin. They sure make a mess on the trees but a few months after you can't see the mess any more.
