3-Point Hitch NX5010 top link

I bought a used NX5010 with a cab. Top link is missing. Only rear implement I plan on using is a flail mower. Plan on going the tractor supply route to purchase an old fashioned manual top link. What length do you recommend I purchase?
Can I go with one that has an opening/closing range of 26”-18”?

I will not be utilizing any type of quick hitch assembly.

I have not bought the mower yet.

I have an NX5010 and I had a manual top link from my old tractor that I replaced with a hydraulic top link.
I just measured it and it strokes from 21" to 32" between the end pins. It works great for all my implements but if I had a flail mower I would have to get a manual one for that so I could use the extra rear hydraulics for the mower.
I agree with Robin that you will probably have to size one specifically to the flail mower and hopefully you can get one that works with your other implements as well.
Fortunately, they are not very expensive.

Tractors are expensive, top links are cheap. Last count I made, I have no less than 8 top links. A couple are cat II. The rest Cat I of various lengths.

I find it strange you buy a very expensive tractor then only plan on using a flail mower. But then you will find a need for a back blade, maybe a rototiller and so on. Hydraulic top links will come in handy because you can use it to lift the back of the implement higher to clear obstructions.

I bought and installed a FitRite hydraulic top link nine years ago. It allows you to adjust ground engagement implements from - just OK to absolutely perfect. AND all while your buns are firmly planted.
