Kioti DK 35
On the Kioti KB 2085 backhoe on a DK 35.
Does the subframe remain on the tractor when the hoe is removed ?
Do you loose the tow bar ?
If the subframe remains with the tractor does it stick back from the machine any farther than the tow hitch ( my brush cutter comes very close to the tow hitch) ?
I am considering a backhoe in the future and reveiwing my options.
Thanks

Thanks,
That helps give me more of an idea of the subframe.
The hoes look nearly identical so the subframes my be also.
Does Rhino build the backhoes for Kioti or have the same MFG ?
I went to the Rhino website and the specs on the hoes shown on their site exactly match the Kioti KB 1440 , 1550 and 2085 hoes.

On my LK2554, the hitch bar and 3pt hitch arms can stay in place when mounting the backhoe. The sub frame stays on the tractor when removing the backhoe. Pull 2 pins, remove pump from pto and drive away.

Thanks Bob,
The draw bar and 3 point arms were some of the things I was not sure about !

on the DK 35 the subframe will come completely off when you take the backhoe off. the 3-pt arms and hitch stay on the tractor.

Thanks guys for the help on my backhoe questions,
I got a very good price on a KB 2085 hoe with 18" bucket from a dealer around 3 hours from here.
He is checking on my financing options, so I will know more on Monday.
If things work out on the finance rate I will have a backhoe in about 2 weeks.

I have that BH on my DK45. The first time I took it off it only took a few minutes. As you probably know, the 2385(new number) hooks up to the tractor hydrolic system and doesn't have a PTO. Two pins, stablize the hoe, drive forward, lower the sub frame with a boom adjustment, unhook the hoses, and drive away, slick! It will be even easier next time.

The tiller was a challange to put on the three point hitch cause I never worked with a hitch before. Again, next time should be much easier.

I like the Kioti more and more as I work with it.

That is a nice outfit you have !!
The backhoe I am checking into has the option of a PTO pump or a hose kit to run off the tractor hydraulics.
I have the rear remotes installed on my DK, so I just priced with the hose kit.

I have to make a correction.
The price I got was on a Rhino 85 backhoe. Which is the same hoe as the KB 2085.
I put myself in debt again and ordered the Rhino 85 with subframe,18" bucket and hose kit.
It will be in in around 2 weeks.
Thanks for the help.
