Our well pump failed. We have a 2500 gallon tank, with a constant pressure pump. We only found out the well pump failed, after the tank ran dry...

Looking for a tank level sensor/alarm with wireless remote alarm. Our well and tank is ~200' from the house, and not visible.

Google searching, but not coming up with much, besides a $400 option.

Anyone have a solution for this?

Wireless safety devices fail. As suggested, wire up a light or horn (better yet, both) to indicate failure. ;)

We employ a triple float setup. The top float shuts off the well pump when the tank is full, the middle float (in the middle of the tank) shuts off the pressure pump, this is to let you know that there is an issue that is keeping the tank from getting full, it is in the middle of the tank so you still have half a tank of water to use while you correct the issue. The bottom float shuts off everything to prevent damage to the pumps. The mid tank float valve is the crucial one as it alerts you to a problem. We also have a 2550 gallon tank and the floats are the weighted type. This setup is pretty robust and effective. You could have the middle weight trigger an alarm such as a light or buzzer.
