Forks Pallet forks for a 3 pt hitch?

I have a JD 3120 and I need to move pallets of wood pellets. Each pallet weighs 1 ton. According to a friend who also has a 3120, his FEL with JD forks will not pick up 1 ton. I have only used my tractor for fel work, plowing and mowing and have no idea if the 3 pt hitch is capable of picking up a ton or if forks for this purpose even exist. Thanks in advance for any info or suggestions.

The 3120 3pt maxes out about 2200-2500 lbs. It'll be close.

Which FEL comes with the 3120 ?

I dug up the specs on both possible loaders on the 3120.

I believe your stuck with the 3pt on this one.
