Tractor
JD 4600, JD 2210, JD 332
While I was hiking up our steep driveway in NH, the thought came to my head: "Name the tractor Molly".

I know this is on the silly side, but a little bit of levity is a healthy thing at times. It is customary to name a boat. Why not name your tractor?

Here are my tractor's names:
JD4600: Molly
JD2210: Millie
JD332: (Poor thing doesn't have a name)
WM-8H chipper: Chip (what else?)

Because the ass end is:

1. Usually covered by whatever is hooked to the three point.

2. is not big enough to paint a name onto.

Boats are named for a purpose...mainly so they can be hailed on a radio etc. or identified...
...Vessels over 5 tons are named as documented yachts and are not required to display any registration numbers...just the name home port...!

Before delivery, the dealers asked me what name would I like for it, and from his smartphone reeled off a list of names as long as your arm. I said no thanks - I'm happy just to call it tractor.

Anyway, it was delivered:

I'm quite fond of "Selena" now. :)
