We were talking last night over a couple of drinks at the neighbors. Sold the plow truck after I got the LS and an inverted 74" blower this year. Neighbors thanked me for spending $35k to keep the snow at a minimal amount...normally we get a lot more of the white stuff. Deepest snow has been 5-6" and I have only used it 4 times so far.

I have a 3ph adapter for the SSQA and put on the rear blade on the front. On one of the lighter snow events, used the blade to windrow the snow to the center of the drive and blow it out. Worked well and reduces hours on the blower/PTO. I plow at 1800 RPM, blow at 2300 RPM.

Nice not having banks or snow.

Nice. That's a nice looking little machine. Is it 4wd?

AWD - It is a opposite traction motor drive. Meaning instead of just driving the two front wheels together it drives opposite ones. That allows it to not tear up the turf along with the balloon tires. And on ice it has the best traction of anything I've ever owned. It can drive on almost glare ice and not spin or slide. One time I did the driveway at my old house. It went up and around the bend like normal and cleared it all off with the brush asm. I then tried to walk up the driveway pulling the trash can. I almost killed myself as i was sliding to the edge of the "abyss" (over 100ft drop off the one side). It was pretty unbelievable at the time. I've since learned (after that one) to walk carefully when it's icy on the driveway after clearing the snow.

I love how compact it is. I googled it, didn't see too many with a loader, and doesn't mention a loader on tractor data I pulled up on Steiner 420. Did you or the previous owner fab the loader up your/himself? What's the lift capacity? I see the newer steiners only have a front scoop option. :(

Which engine is on yours, I see it came in a bunch of variants.
