Sounds like a good idea. Most all over-the-road tractor/trailers use air suspension instead of spring, no reason not to use it on the smaller equipment. I wish it was offered on dually pickups from the factory.

Anyone have experience with this air suspension system
which is optional on PJ Trailers?[/url]
No experience with PJ, but at my previous employer we built 90% of the 5th wheels with air suspension. Thats because we had air on the tow vehicle anyways, because ABS is mandatory on trailers with more than 3.5 ton axle load: So we needed air brakes, with a 12V electric air compressor.

The big benefits of air suspension is that you have a constant ride height, it inflates the bags when the ride height valve notices the trailer sits too low. For easy loading, you could manually deflate the bags to drop the deck another 3 to 4 inches, so you can do with shorter ramps.
In combination with air brakes, the brake force is also automatically adjusted to the trailer load, it decides the brake pressure based on the pressure in the command line, and the pressure in the suspension bags.
