Just out doing more cleanup in my yard. Love the blower on the RTV! I can't believe how it throws snow for only being 26 horsepower! Now that I see how good it works, I took the blower off the B and finally got to use my hydraulic rear blade. And both are so good on fuel. I've filled them once so far all winter.

Nice setup with the blower on the RTV and the great driveway shots with the clean banks. Did you get a new blower for the RTV or modify the 3PT from the 2620?

That's a lot of orange; very nice! It still is fascinating to me, seeing the RTV with a snow blower. I know they've been available for them for- a long time now? It's just so- neat.

My B2620 (2012) has OE R4 tires.....but works best with 4 link ladder chains.......now at 860 hrs....using a 5 foot rear blade. But we often get a coating of ice before the snows.

This year (about a month ago) we had an ice event followed by a 15 inch blizzard. No snow depths like yours however.

I used to do neighbors' driveways ...some on slopes and many on concrete or gravel.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks. No, it's a new blower on the RTV.

Someone was asking me if it works on a tractor with the K-Connect but I never ever checked to see if they are the same or not?

Probably not as heavy duty as a tractor blower? But it sure is comfortable. And you can have a passenger with you.
It makes maintenance a bit more complicated though. Now I'm like a SCUT.....have to remove a driveshaft if I ever have to change a fan belt.

I had no idea that the Kubota side by side could mount a snow blower on the front end. That's really impressive. Is it a PTO or hydraulic?

I've never had to chain up even with the R4's on the tractor. But like you say, the difference is we USUALLY don't get many ice or freezing rain events here (but have had some lately)
It's usually cold enough our snow stays powder, or at least not wet and packing.

It's PTO driveshaft driven Eddie. Drives off engine crankshaft to a drop box with an electro hydraulic clutch like a tractor.
But for some reason, instead of using the RTV's hydraulics for lift and the chute, it has an electric power pack on the front same as a Boss plow to provide hydraulics.
The K-Connect and driveshaft take away a few inches of ground clearance and are not easily removeable, so I probably won't be using it to trail ride any more, unless I'm on good maintained trails.
