plow not shedding good yet. also, the left edge of the plowing is before I pulled the packer. I did it to show the difference plowing with and without the packer. Much prettier with the packer. Still need to finish. Like I said, I ran out of fuel before I got through thus the yellow diesel can beside the tractor.

The three bottom plow in the second pic is for sale.

Finished with this patch. Plow 'almost' got shined up and was beginning to shed well. Same story as always, I ran out of dirt before I could get them bright.
And speaking of "story", the story of this little patch is that it was my Dad's watermelon patch. His health has been failing him and last year was his final crop of melons. He enjoyed doing it, I enjoyed watching them grow and Dad made enough money every year selling the melons to take a fishing trip. Now he doesn't have the money or the health to take his trip. I was going to finance his trip but he said he just couldn't do it any more. Don't expect to have my Dad much longer. I guess I'll just put this in grass or just turn it over to my renter and let him plant cotton. Kind of a shame, own a farm and don't have any dirt to plow. Oh well. :D

I hear and understand everything our saying. Time marches on and we can't stop the progression. It is just bitter sweet the things you have to let go.

:confused: Well I guess folks don't like plowin' as much as they say they do.

Looks good. Our ground doesn't look like that till a disk follows the plow.

Looks good! I WISH it was dry enough around here to do some plowing. Our garden area is still like a sponge, and we're supposed to get even more rain tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your Dad's health, Allen.

Allen,
Got here as fast as I could. Thanks for the link.;) That Kubota sure looks small out there.:2cents: Maybe if you get some small green tractors and put near it.................the orange one will look bigger.
More importantly............enjoy your Dad while he is here. Why can't you plant the patch back in melons?
hugs, Brandi

Brandi, I have neither the time nor the desire to take care of a watermelon patch. I still have a full time job and my side jobs with the tractor eat up the rest of my time. I'm looking to retire in a couple of years (from my real job) and then I plan to get back into the melons.

Hmm, I have a little green tractor I could park beside the 'Bota to make it look bigger. :D The Bota may be small but she has a big heart. ;)
