Last year I used the bucket on my TC30 to move snow. This summer I fixed up my 7' snowbear plow to fit on the bucket. I doesn't swivel but I find I can push the snow where I want it to go. I plowed my two drives today - 8" of new snow. Basically I was leaning to use the setup so that I wasn't digging up my drives- acts like a grader if I am not careful. Some places were more frozen than others. I found that if I tipped the plow forward it pushed and slipped along nicely. If the plow was tipped vertical or back, it cut in. I could only rest the plow lightly on the ground, or I dug in.
Worked great, could maneuver where I couldn't with my truck. I plowed the road to the back field for my horses and around the barn from the main road. In mid range, 2nd The tractor pushed a 500' straight track non stop with snow slipping off the sides.
No cab and a bit cold, but it got the job done nicely. I had added some lights - 2 H3 50w (motorcycle lights) and had no visibility problem after it was dark.

Sounds like your on your way to winter madness. What you dig up this winter you can fix in the spring (LOL)

Sounds like it worked out well. Just added a 7 1/2 foot plow to my tractor but have not had a chance to use it yet. Can't wait

Kind of rough, I cut the plow hitch in half from the original. Close to the plow mount on the hitch- I lined it up with the holes in the bucket that are there for a tooth bar, marked and drilled. The I used the original springs and hooked the to my bucket hook with chain - equal lengths each side.
It works well- straight on plowing. If my tractor was a little bigger (30hp) I could have used the original truck plate mount and drilled that for the holes on the bucket. That would have meant the plow would stick out 2-3', but it would be able to swivel side to side. -good for clearing long road stretches with limited maneuverability. Some people say it is hard to hold the tactor in a straight line with the swivel. I don't know.
Use skids- dig the drive up less. Snowbear has them for 70 dollars on their site or dealer sites.
