plowing with a L3200 hst

Hi everyone. I have been reading on this forum board for sometime and I love all the knowledge and advice. Now my question is will a L3200 with a hydro trans and R4 tires pull a 2-12"bottom plow? I will not do it very often (maybe once every 4 or 5 years) and biggest area will be 1 or 2 acres. I am just curious if it is capable of doing it. I have sold my two older Ford tractors and I am very serious about buying a L3200. I am just wanting something a little smaller and easier to use. The main things I will use it for is loader work, snow removal, mowing, post holes, ect. Thanks for all the advice!

I have a single bottom plow that my B2320 pulls with no effort as long as I keep some weight on the front end. This is also in ground that has never been plowed.

You should be fine! Low range and about three quarters throttle should be fine in any soil but if in lighter soil you might be able to go to the middle range..

2 12's should be no trouble at all.

8n's pull pull that, and they are about the same weight and only 2wd. Just dont do it when its too wet or smeary. Those R4's will load up and wont pull well. But you probabally knew that.

And if you have loaded tires and/or a loader, that is even better. The heavier you are, the better it will pull.

Here's a BX with a single 14", yours should be fine with two 12s.

I pulled a 2/12 dearborn with my L3130 HST,you should have no problem.You may want to have in 4WD.I did have ags(R1).Pull the same with my L4240 .

I pull 2 12's with a L2900 Glideshift with no problem other than traction. I have ag tires, and still need 4wd to pull it about 6" deep. I think you will have plenty of power, but as others have said you may need some extra weight.
