Looking for a UTV with cab, heat and A/C which will do 40 + mph. It will replace my 2014 Kubota RTV X1100C which has served me well in all categories except for speed. Kubota RTV max speed is only about 25 mph. Much of my property is along 1.5 mile stretch of township asphalt road and I would like to go faster than 25 mph. I知 aware of two options, Polaris Northstar and John Deere XUV 835R, but there may be others. I looked at a Polaris Northstar yesterday and plan to check out the John Deere XUV 835R next week. MSRP prices for the two machines are comparable. Only question/concern is how good is the HVAC system in the two machines? Any HVAC info for either Polaris and/or Deere models would be appreciated.

I am in the hunt for just about the same thing, except I am at 8600 ft. The X110C is still on the table, but it would be best to have something that can do it all. I assume you are plowing snow in the winter as well?

After test driving the Polaris Northstar and John Deere 835R, I went with the JD 835R back in March, 2019. After having owned and running the 835R the past 5 months, I can tell you the A/C and heating system is way superior to the Polaris Nstar and slightly better than the Kubota X1100C. The 835R will do about 47 mph and it gets up there very quickly and is good enough for me. The Polaris Nstar has awsome acceleration, and not even sure about top speed but some say around 70 mph (not for me).

The 835R is everything I was looking for. The promo incentives were very good plus they gave me way more in trade for my Kubota X1100C than I expected. I don't plow snow with mine because I have a tractor for that but several other owners do plow snow with no problem. The MSRP is a little scary but not bad when considering promos and trade.

Great feedback, much appreciated.
