On Pg 163 (Chapter 2) Section 6.6.2 INJECTOR of this service manual, it states " . . . ". . . Injection Pressure is adjusted to 230+/- 5 Kg/cm2". These pressures (assuming the 2 different Conversion Tables I found on-line are correct) equate to 3271 +/- 71 PSI !!! Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but don't these pressures seem much higher than what they should be? I was under the impression the Injectors in the A1500 - A1700 model engines should be popping at somewhere between 2000 to maybe 2700 PSI. Do I have a phony manual or do they all read this way (and WHAT ARE the correct pressures if these are wrong? Thanks.

I'll give your thread a bump, I'd love to see it replied to properly.

I suspect something was lost in the translation from Indian to English.

From the 20 series service manual;
1748035985884.png

After injector injection pressure is adjusted to 120±5kg/cm2, which is just over 1700 psi.

and then I find this,
After injector injection pressure is adjusted to 150±5kg/
cm2, affixes it in injector tester and every second 4~
6 time fabricates the lever. Check the spray condition
and if it is abnormal, injector replace or clean.
which is 2133 psi.

The 2133 psi sounds more in line to me but who knows for sure.
The last time I messed with injectors it was making sure they were all at the same pressure and for some reason 2600 psi rings a bell.

And then the indirect injection such as the old Olivers were only 1900-2000 psi.

LouNY: Probably why I got my Manual for so cheap! Couldn't see any numbers at the bottom of the page photo you provided, but mine has 'K25W-201406' at the bottom left hand corner if that might explain any Revisions. And yes, yours seems to be much closer in line with what I was able to see on youtube for what looks like similar injectors BUT what's up with the 2 different sets of pressures ?! Mine has the exact same verbiage as yours after the initial pressure (yours: 120+/- 5kg/cm2; mine 230+/- . . .) and continues with 4 sentences of what to do regarding "spray condition" but it is definitely an exercise in 'Pidgin English'. Sheesh. Thanks for your input.

OK, got my VEVOR PS-400H NOZZLE (Fuel Injector) TESTER up and running again and tested the brand new Injectors I just purchased from my Branson dealer. As it turned out, 2 of the 3 are Branson's brand (p/n HK12020000A3) while the other is a TYM brand with the same p/n as the Branson except they've dropped the 'A3' from the end. For the record (and maybe for help in getting individual components for these injectors because the pressures can be varied by the use/absence of shims in them and I know MY dealer doesn't mess with stocking these kinds of parts . . .) they all (even the original Injectors that came on my 2011 vintage Branson 3120R with the Kukje A1500 {one sticker on the tractor says it's an "N1" while the Kukje sticker claims it's an "N2" but that's another story . . .}) have '0078-0090' stamped right on the Injectors. My assumption is it is a number assigned by whichever company made the injector for Kukje (Branson, Cummins) but at least the first 4 digits seem to be a Robert Bosch number. The second 4 digits are probably the specs to identify it for my (and no doubt several other) applications. So here are the test numbers: the 2 with the Branson p/n popped at 2200 PSI (154.66 Kg/cm2); while the TYM brand popped at 2100 PSI (147.64 Kg/cm2). These are in line with what LouNY provided in a recent post (thank you, Lou) and sure as heck prove the numbers in my FSM ("230+/-5Kg/cm2) are waaay off. Hope this helps someone.

Hmmm. Found in my old stash of tractor related papers a diagram of a Fuel Injector with 2 separate Part Numbers: one is 105078-0000. Also listed (with the name Bosch between the 2 sets of numbers so it's not clear which set it refers to) is another p/n: 9 430 615 049. In doing a search of the second # it appears this is also a Bosch number and even crosses to the '0078-0090' I mentioned in my post before this one. So . . . looks like this could be an alternate (or possibly a way to get the individual parts of the injectors as mentioned in my previous post) if you can't get your injectors thru Branson/TYM.
