Finally got the definitive answer!
The tech that installed it did some research and still was not sure and said I'm better off looping it any time I'm not using the hoe.
Discussed with a long time Massey service tech and manager....
He said, ONLY TIME YOU NEED TO DISCONNECT AND LOOP THE POWER BEYONG IS WHEN YOU REMOVE THE HOE FROM THE TRACTOR.
The fluid goes to the hoe first, then the loader, and I can operate all functions of the tractor, hoe, loader, driving, without doing anything further. Just like I always thought it should have been and just like so many stated here. I'm really glad I reached out and started getting more and more of the same answers that convinced me to do further research and not have to waste the time and money making a diverter system, so now I can use the time and money making something else for the tractor instead!
