Hi guys sorry to disappoint but this is not a full step by step install of a power plug on the rear of My Kioti DK35SE, but really just some photo's Murphy1244 requested over in a PM. I cannot seem to attach photos from my PC directly in a PM, only a URL. The pix are not really that good, taken today on a dark rainy day in a barn:) I installed this little 2 prong weatherproof power plug this summer and did not think to take any pix of the install.. I use one of the existing sets of wire intended for the rear work light I believe. There is also the 7 pin trailer plug tucked back under the orange bar that goes between the fenders of the tractor. You just have to go digging up under there and find what you want. It is controlled by the key and fused by the factory fuse panel.
The little connector has a tethered waterproof cap that goes over it, and I usually always coat everything in the way of an electrical connector in my favorite anti-corrosion compound no-ox-id grease.

It seems to be a good one.. it is steel. I paid $198 for it from the dealer. He said that was dealer cost.. I don't know. It was thrown in as a part of the trade deal. It makes a world of difference working in high overhead sunlight.. Before I would quit and go inside, but as long as I have some water with me, I worked many a day this summer in over 100 degree heat, but my body was in the shade.
Here is the manufacture.

James, I thought you patched into the trailer harness. I am using the work light. Where did you get the shed? does it have footers?

You can patch in to either one you want, In my case If I wanted a rear light, I could still put one on, as long as I stayed under the 10 amps the circuit is fused for. I could put a LED rear work lamp on and still run the sprayer easily. As for the barn, it is a Carolina Carport, sold through their local dealer network. Put in by their contractors. They built it in one afternoon in 100 degree heat. It does not have footers, it is just staked down with 3/4 rebar with a big nut welded on top. But they would be happy to build it on footers if you provided them. And they would provide anchors. Or a slab if you desired. What you see is slightly over $3200, 12x26 10 foot walls, about 13 1/2 foot overall at the peak. Not including the garage door (they just frame it out) The garage door was another $800 installed. You go to your local dealer, and go thru how you want it to look, what roof style , what features, how many doors, windows, etc. and then the Carolina Carport corp. contacts you and sets up an install date, usually about a month later.

I am not sure what you are asking me, the connection to the existing wiring was just cutting off the single bullet point connectors already on the wire and splicing with inline crimp splices, taping it up and encasing the whole thing in plastic black wire loom and then wire tying it up to the existing wire loom. The end connector is shown in the slighty out of focus connector in my hand.. That mates with my spray rig. If you are asking about the trailer connector, it is up there, I put it back, it appears to be some kind of 7 pin connector that would snap on the back of a 7 pin receptical that would mount on a bulkhead.

Ahh, I see I thought you were using a connector that looks like a cigarette lighter.

Murph

yeah for some reason the auto-focus did not work very well on a couple of those, but it is the standard 2 prong connector like a 4 prong trailer connector, with the ground the exposed connector and the positive encased in rubber and there is a tethered plug of rubber to plug into it to make it water resistant.
