Price Check Price Check Kubota L2550

Is this a good price for a Kubota L2250 with loader and Kelly backhoe. It has 1100 hours and garage kept. Industrial tires are 75% and has a grill guard. The machine has been used mostly for mowing and not any commercial business. Asking price is $15K.
Any info on realibility, problems and pricing is appreciated. Joe

To high for a 21 year old tractor Avarage price on tractor house is 6000-7000 with loader I can't imagine the backhoe being worth 8000.

Hi Joe - TBN has gotten pretty big - the fossils don't take as good care of new members as we used to - often the collective wisdom is taking a nap when somebody asks a question like yours.

The L2250 was a nice little machine - very reliable, solid, strong. If this one really has only 1100 hours and has been well kept by a single owner, it might be worth that much - but it is a high number. The hourmeter drive cable routinely breaks around 700 hrs. Sometimes its a few years before someone gets around to replacing it. Best to just ask if the owner knows the whole history. Bottom line is condition is everything on a machine of this vintage - if it is nice, the owner will eagerly tell you all about it. If not, you'll be able to tell. For $15k it would need to appear nearly new. The Kelly backhoe probably doesn't have a subframe so it is of limited strength and maybe not worth a lot ($1000). A price of $10k or less sounds more in line.

Thanks for the info. I have decided to keep looking as the backhoe (as you noted) will not meet my needs. It will dig $ft deep and beyond that loses power.
