I'm looking at a L3350 w/ a BF800 FEL & a 4540 Backhoe. It is a MFWD 8 speed w/ a hydraulic shuttle. The tractor only has 668 hours, but has been stored outside it's entire life & is very weathered. The rear tires (12.4-24) are brand new. The fronts (8-16) are 30% and have some cracks on them. It is at a dealer who I trust & he says that mechanically the unit is in top notch condition (tight pins & hyd. cont. valve, etc.).
This is a little more tractor than I rally need (I currently have a B9200). However, I desperately need a backhoe.
The dealer is asking $14K for it. He does not seem to be willing to move off the price much, but then again, he has had it for a while.
What is this tractor worth? How should I negotiate?
