Price Check Price Check L4240

Hello everyone, I was hoping to get a price check on a L4240 HSTC. This tractor has been on the lot for a while as it's actually a 2011 L4240 HST with cab, 854 loader with HD bucket, R-4 tires with filled rear wheels. Priced at $31900 with the $1500 cash back option included in this price. I have searched but I can't find anything similar to compare this price to. Any ideas?

I just paid 32K for a brand new 2012. it included everything you listed plus pallet forks/hay spear and stereo. Labor for 50 hour service included as well. Sounds good for a new L4240. I'm already in love with mine!!!! It is a great machine!

Wow sounds like you were well taken care of. That's a lot of options included to be the same price on a 2012 vs a 2011. Thanks for the reply it is helpful because I really think this deal could be sweetened.

I really like my L4240.You must remember;tractors are not like cars when it comes to model year.If the paint was faded (I doubt that) or other signs of weather wear maybe a little discount.Mine has been out-doors since new and still looks good.The plastic top has faded some from sun exposure.Your price is fair.I just had my 600hr.service done,it has been very good.

Yea,I know its not really accurate to base it on the year but this has been sitting for a good while now and compared to my L3830 bought in '06 the paint is faded from the elements,not a big deal but nonetheless. I'm just doing all the research I can. Thanks for the input.

The reluctance of some to buy the new L60 Series with Tier IV may keep the price of the L40's from getting very sweet.

You are getting 18% off of current pricing excluding the rebate. I know there was a $400 dollar price increase last spring and there may have been more since this tractor was on the lot. The price is good since it is 18% off but I would think they would want to get rid of it real bad but it could be like TripleR said the Tier IV emissions is keeping the price up on the L40.

Well, I decided to sell my L3830 and got it sold in just a couple days. Getting the 4240HSTC built out now, should have it around mid-week. I will say that Kubotas in general and especially ones that are well taken care of hold their resale value tremendously. Hated to see it go but ready for this one! Thanks for the help.
