Price check! L4600/MX4700

I'm trading in my B2620 mmm and fel with 560 hours, dealer say I can chose from the MX4700 or L4600 for $28k. Both options would come with FEL and backhoe. The dealer broke it down as $14.5k for my B2620 in credit on my new tractor. Something seems off to me in the deal. I was expecting to pay in the low $20k range after trade in. :confused2:

L4600 should be less than a MX4700.

Yes, if you're getting $14.5K for your B26, then the difference should be in the low to mid 20's. $28k puts the total at $42.5k which is too high unless there are some other major options or attachments that you haven't mentioned.

No other options that I know of, I wanted HST and 4x4 so that adds up. When I check on the kubota site and I have to add alot to get the MX up above 42k. I plan on going this weekend and getting everything in writing prices and what it comes with. Just thought it was high though and the price would be the same no mater for the MX or L, thought the L would be couple of grand lower.

whoa hold it.how much is the mx4700 rigged up like you want it out the door.an do you owe on your trade in tractor.i bought a new 7040 rops 4x4 fel hydro shuttle for something like $34,400 out the door.now i traded a mx5100 hst rops 4 x4 fel in on it an got almost $19000 for it sn paid it off.so im back to oweing less than $26,000 on the 7040.

There is a backhoe involved. Big money there.

Lol thank you Newbury! I just need to sit down with them and see what every thing is so I know I'm comparing apples to apples.

Not sure it's helpful, but I had two dealer quotes recently on a new l5460 with fel and HD bucket (and rear remotes) and both dealers knocked off around 5K from tractor. But that might just be on the l60 series as they are having a hard time selling them yet.

FYI... I just bought a new mx 5100 ( big brother to the mx 4700 ) 4w drive, quick attach fel, gear driven shuttle shift. Paid $21, 500.00 last fall. Dealer priced the backhoe at $9, 800.00. Total $31, 300.00 Do the math. I think you need to get another quote.

Could not come close to that price around here and I thought we had some of the lowest prices in the country. But there was a significant price increase a while back, if I remember right.

I've noticed lately.

I priced a mx5100 earlier this year and it was around 6k more than the above price.
