pros and cons to running a 4WD tractor in 2WD

A flatlander may get away with 2 by but on the hills you're just asking for trouble- as others say.

In the MS Delta its all flatland! Having a 4WD is almost mandatory in that gumbo if you gonna get any tractor work done!

There is no real difference between 2wd v 4wd on your tractor or on your pick'm up truck. I'm in 2wd until I start loosing traction in 2wd. Then I'm in 4wd. When I regain traction on more solid ground, I switch to 2wd. Less wear and tear, less fuel, better turning radius.
