I have been throwing around the idea of replacing my 98 Dodge Ram for a while and even got some advice on this forum about 18 months ago to keep it running a little longer. With our second child due in October, the thought of cramming a second carseat in the extended cab was less appealing than purchasing a crew cab. I noticed used pickup prices really dropping about three weeks ago and I was able to pick up this one-owner 07 F150 Lariat for $900 under KBB trade-in value from a local Ford dealership. It fits our needs and has more bells and whistles than I knew existed. I thought my Dodge was pretty powerful with the 360 V8 but I can already tell this truck has more guts and rides a whole lot better. I just need to get my Prodigy controller moved over and I will be all set.

Very nice!!! Enjoy it. Amazing how trucks seem to get better every year.

Good looking truck, does it have the 5.4L?

Looks like a nice truck. I really like the gearshift in the center console.

Don't put up any pictures of it pulling a trailer or anything. You know it is not made to pull even a lawnmower since it is only a 1/2 ton with a 10,000 tow capacity.

The 5.4 is a good engine, enjoy the new truck.

Congradulations on the truck. Looks like you did really good.

Wow, I'd bet there are no more than a couple of differences between your F150 and mine. Mine is a 2008, no sliding window, factory nav, no bed liner, and different tires, but other than that they are near twins.

I've had it for just over a year now. All I have needed are new brakes (at 55,000 miles). I would highly recommend getting some weathertech floor mats front and rear. I have three kids and they pay no attention to the state of their shoes.

That sure is a good looking truck, Rick .
I ordered a set of WeatherTech digital liners front and rear yesterday and as soon as my Prodigy trailer brake controller adapter wiring comes in from R and P Carriages I will be ready to use this truck for all it is intended.

I have a 2007 F150 FX4 with the 5.4 and 3.73 rear axle. You will be surprised at how capable your F150 is when towing, I know I was. I bought mine new and have been very satisfied with it.
