Hey folks,

Found a nice disc harrow on Craigslist for what seems a solid price, and I'm thinking I want it. That said, it's a 7' disc, would that be too much for my Kioti CK2610?

I'd love to hear some opinions thrown out here, before I go tossing more money around.

That is a fairly light disk and your tractor should handle it , i have a 6.5 ft one just like it and my 28 hp tractor will work it,

I would keep looking if I were you . The frame build on that thing from the 3 point to the L iron frame is cwap imo . Also it has no gang adjustability . I would not give more than $200 for that if I were you . Trying to be honest and not come across as a jerk . LoL !
That add reminded me of a long time TBN members handle on here . FWJ ....
Just my 2cents with all due respect to All ! ........

Oh hell, no need to apologize, I'm looking for opinions. 😂

I certainly understand it's rather lightly built, and I can't think I'd want to depend on it if I had a business, but my garden is well under and acre. Does that information change your opinion in any way? Would this thing be worth $400 to run through a garden plot twice a year?

The price of things down your way is a lot more reasonable than up here in Maine; the local economy is second the worst thing about this state.

First I would like to say from your pic you have a real good looking tractor .
With the price of fuel , your time involved to go get it etc I really wouldn't pay much more for that than what my thoughts were .
Yes every region is different market wise . In the past I have not offered people way less for what there asking to not offend them . Just left it alone especially if there a neighbor etc . Who ever buys that also better have some good welding skills .
There gonna need them .

While I have a welder, I don't have the skill... I'll probably let this one pass.

That is indeed a light disc. Your tractor will pull it. IDK……if i had a smaller tractor I might buy that…..

Thank you! I'd been doing research for about the last two years, knowing eventually I would eventually go larger than the 1025R I had. Well I had the opportunity to sell the Deere for more than I paid for it, and once that happened I spec'd out a tractor I knew I'd grow into.

I've not had it a month, and I'm already in love. 😂

When I eventually replace it, in a few decades, it'll just be to have a cab.
