R4 Tires for 1660

I have a 2009 Massey 1660 power-shuttle R1 tires with only 170hrs on it. I love the tractor but really wish I got a hydrostatic and R4 tires. The weight of the tractor combined with the R1 tires really raises **** with the lawn and driveway regardless wet or dry. Also the constant shifting when snow blowing 700 ft driveway is a pain, never find the right speed at the need pto speed.

Anyways I got pricing on the 1750M and 2706e hydrostatic, but the wife is really resistant to adding $12,000 more to what we owe on the 1660. So I’ve decided to keep the 1660 and maybe by a smaller hydro for around the house/yard.

Anyways in the interim I would like to possibly look into getting R4 tires for the tractor. Does anyone have an idea how much tires and rims would cost? Or maybe somewhere that might have a used set kicking around? Thanks!

I find R4 tires are really stiff and in the winter with a snowblower attach to the 3 pht the traction is not good unless you put chain on

Rather than adding $12,000 more to what you owe on the 1660 have you considered trading toward what you want? That would save the outlay on different tires as well as having to purchase a hydro for around the house and yard.
