I've got a nice L series snow blade with the Kubota quick hitch mount. But don't have any tractors with the quick hitch.

Thinking of options, I came across the bxpanded listing.

Wondering, can it possibly work?

If it does, that blade would look good on the loader bucket on the Hurlimann.

Why not just get these and attach to your bucket? I use them on my bucket followed by a rear blade on the 3ph.

I've got the originals.

A bucket is not a blade.

You must not live where it snows.

Have you ever seen 2 feet of snow flow over a seven foot back blade?

I’ve plowed 38” of snow where I live. When it gets that deep, it’s less about plowing and more about bucket pushing and scooping. With the bucket pushing and the back blade cleaning up, it does a nice job on the typical 12” snows.

I apologize for disrespecting your offering on the edge tamers. The work very well.

I've got four tractors, One with a Western six foot blade, One with a front mount blower, Two with buckets (fel), Two that see rear blowers mounted when the snow falls deep, And a 7 foot scrape blade,

I ask about the mounting because I'm curious and have the second 6 foot blade at hand.

It's not like I'm looking for ideas to move snow,

I'm wondering about the practicality of that particular attachment mounting scheme.

Have you any opinions on that?

i don’t have a front mounted plow because I have a long gravel road, and blading snow usually results in moving gravel. With the edge tamers, I then turn my rear blade backwards and float the bucket and blade and it goes a nice job of moving snow but not gravel. For what you want to do, have you considered getting a SSQA mount and then welding it to the blade?
