I hate being cold.

Let me repeat, I hate being cold. Even in the East TN climate, I hate being cold. (I'm originally from Ohio)

Anyway..... any recommendations on one piece, insulated coveralls for working outside that are warm? I've got an old (oily & tattered) unit I wear.... I'll wear it in fall using the zipper as my thermostat (unzip to let it breath, zip it up to warm it up)

I need a new one and when I go through Farm King, Tractor Supply, local Co-op.... I don't really see anything that looks like it's going to be WARM and also, happens to be single piece. I see pants & jackets but that's not what I'm after.

Where do you northern folks find these things?

around here Farm & Fleet, Tractor Supply both carry insulated coveralls. I believe Cabelas and other sporting goods stores may also.

Carhart. Good, fair price and fairly waterproof. I have a pair and I wear some fuzzy sweats under mine.

I brought with us my Eddie Bauer down filled pants/jacket/gloves from our time in Alaska. I was young then and had no qualms about being out in extreme weather.

I'm older now and - perhaps - a little wiser. If it's so very cold outside that I need my Alaska cold weather gear - I just stay inside with a cup of hot chocolate.

Being retired also means - I don't have to be anywhere at any specific time.

I'm a big Carhartt fan. They have a Yukon Extreme line, pricy but warm.

Years ago I wore Walls brand coveralls. Well insulated, not bulky, and flexible. Corduroy collar. They worked well.

My mother bought me a set of coveralls from Walmart for Christmas last year. Can't remember the exact brand, but they were inexpensive and they are WARM. With temps in the 20s I sweat when I'm working in them. Single digits and I'm good. They're pretty easy to slip into also, nice zippers.

I wear Carhartt bib overalls with long sleeve Tshirt, sweatshirt, and a Carhartt vest. I find this setup to be ideal for cold weather. I spend a lot of time cutting wood and I like the freedom of movement this setup affords me and keeps me warm at the same time. The bib overalls have zippers on the legs to make them easy to get in/out of.

Walls ! I have a pair and I use them every morning. I don't even have to get dressed to go outside. I just step into my insulated coveralls and zip. It the Bomb (y)

I have Carhartt and Berne. Overall, I like the Berne better. Cheaper and easier to get in and out of.
