Hinges are short angle iron bolted to a creosote post with a short pipe welded on. The bottom one failed when the short pipe broke off after probably 30 years. Welded new short piece on today. Will put the hay forks on the Satoh Buck tomorrow to lift the gate into place so I can put it on the hinges.

It goes quicker and easier when you have available an extra set of hands. But here's thinking you already knew this. If we lived closer to each other, I would loan you one of my son-in-laws. That's how I got my last gate hung. Happy Tractoring.:laughing::tractor:

It went pretty easy, and I didn't have to wait on anybody.
