Hello all,

My first of many questions for the group. I have a BH70 on a B2601 that I want to take off. I've watched all the videos of removing other models and it seems pretty straightforward. My question has to do with the hydraulic hoses after separating from the tractor. All of the videos show simply reconnecting the male/female on the tractor and doing the same on the backhoe. Problem is I have three hydraulic hoses. Two of them are close together which I assume should be reconnected to each other to keep a closed system. What in the heck do I do with the third line?

Thanks for any advice. Relative novice when it comes to hydraulics!

Third line should be return to tank which is only in use when the backhoe is on. You should just cap it off on the backhoe and there should be a cap to cover the hookup on the tractor. Same set up as my BX25 with the BH601 backhoe.

Just to add to what has been said.

The BH valve has its own pressure relief valve.

When the pressure relief valve operates it needs a fluid path back to the reservoir hence the third connection.
