Is there a way I can use my BX24 to help with removing, storing, and reinstalling my canopy? I have an F350 and the canopy is all metal and quite heavy.

Took me awhile to re-find this, might give you a place to start, whether in wood or metal.

Kubota - Rich's Woodshop

Scroll down about halfway, you'll see the pertinent ones -

Hope it helps... Steve

Wow! Awesome Jig. My cap is heavier that the one shown, but I am going to try it out. Thanks for taking the time to look this up. I will post the results in the spring.

You're welcome - personally, "overkill" specialist that I am, I'd consider using square steel tubing to duplicate those pics - 1-1/2" .095" wall should be strong enough if you did a truss type approach. I would make two sides, with just a removable "criss-cross" horizontal brace between them to maintain spacing, then two up-facing pads per side with a large enough surface (padded with foam or ?) to avoid damage to the ceiling of the shell.

If you have enough space for storage, you could skip the "removable" part and just store it standing up on the end that attaches to the bucket... Steve
