replaced my 4720 with a 5083

Traded in my 4720 on a 5083 today !!! big difference, the 4720 was a great machine but I got back in the hay biz and it was just a bit small. hopefully the weather will allow some bailing tomorrow. Thanks to those on this site who helped by giving input when I was shopping.

That should make a great haying machine. I plan on getting a 5xxxM in a year or two for the same reason as you....But I think I will hang on to my 4720 too...It's just too **** handy to have around. What did you get for a tranny?

Congrats. They are a great machine for the price! I went with the 5093 for that little extra PTO HP for haying. I used it last week to move 5x6 bales off my field and that power reverser trans worked great! Good Luck with your new e series!
