It's in a 300hp artic steer tractor and not the kind of seat to replace cheap or replace with vinyl....It's a bostrom air ride so a couple of thousand $ ..I don't like vinyl seats much they get too sweaty in the summer and my father had surgery on the end of his spine so vinyl aggrovates that too.
Just thought there was a wonder chemical to see to it..?

Heard that something called odorxit (not sure of the spelling) works for this kind of thing...Haven't tried myself, but I hear it's pretty good.

Oh! in that case then cut off the old fabric remove the seat and take it to your local reupholstery shop, I'm sure they could could fix you up for way way less then the cost of that new seat,
some of us aren't even in your League, My tractors barley worth what your seat is, :D

..A $2000 air seat is only nice when it works, I have 2 with leaking air bags to fix this year.....We still have plenty of tractors with iron seats too...

I started dry heaving just thinking about it.:D:D

I'd try the Nature's Miracle. I've used it in carpet before the puppy learned where the door was. The trick is to let the stuff air dry after treating.

Now on a serious note: Knowing nothing about the seat I'd suggest it be removed from the tractor and broken down as far as possible to the upholstery portion. [Probably means whole seat]

Soak it in water for a day and then try and flush with water. Soak again a few times to try and get stinky residue out. A little ordinary dish soap might help too.

Ask a dry cleaner for their opinion. They may be able to do it with out harming the upholstery?

Otherwise as probably mentioned there are masks which will remove organic vapours.

Or cover the seat in an airtight "something" with a small vacuum pump venting outside attached?

Any help? any way I tried!:D

You can buy stuff like Nature's miracle at pet specialty shops. Can you soak the whole seat in it? It would be a lot cheaper than anything else. Sounds like a pretty expensive seat, I was originally thinking of one of the cheapeas.

NOTE: The original Princess Auto was on Princess street in Winnipeg!
