So, started the car, got about 50 feet down the drive and started smelling fuel. Looked and this is what I found:

Then, on my way to the parts store, this happened:

And, to top it all off, while airing up the (very big) spare, I went to check the other front and found a split valve stem!!

Ya, Im having a great day :(

You should be good for a while now, that's a lot of bad karma for one day....

Never seen a line like that - alcoholic rats after the ethanol ? Weird.

Have a better one tomorrow.

Modern vehicles use too little fuel.

Big Oil has bio-engineered zombie-fuel-line-eating rats.

Been there, done that!! (no T shirt)
I was leaving my property and smelled gas, looked under my truck and gas was spraying onto the muffler!! :(
I had to remove the PU bed for access.

It looks like the rodent was also chewing on the white tank near the hose. I also had a rodent chew right through the plastic fuel tank of my wood splitter! Crazy! Just crazy!

I feel your pain.

Rodents chewed on the battery cable.

2 field mice in the car...having to put glue traps in the car on a regular basis.

A cable TV company I work with a lot has a big problem with squirrels chewing on the insulation on their cables. Turns out some cables are manufactured with a cover that is soy based, or other eco-friendly insulation that the tree rats find delicious! Brilliant! They're replacing a lot of cable. I wonder if some vehicles are manufactured with similarly tasty cables & hoses?
