S250 Bobcat Foot Controls Locked

Service call at the neighbor to try to get his foot controls to work. I can flip the switch and get the hand controls to work, lift and tilt. Soon as I flip it to foot controls,a little warning light comes on at the temp gauge upper left and a red warning light comes on. How do you check for codes? How do I go about diagnosing this problem?

That warning light usually means a control lockout or safety fault. Try holding the “press to operate loader” button and see if it resets. Some models show fault codes on the screen if you press the light and traction buttons together for a few seconds. If not, you might need to plug in a code reader. Could also be a bad seat switch or pedal sensor.
