Not dissing any of the old artists (or newer - I can even tolerate Del McCoury, who elevates nose singing to its purest art form). But WHY do they have to so over-emphasize the poorly recorded low-fidelity old stuff when the well-produced late-model artists are being so prolific? I know that they have heard of the IBMA, since they do a "show" or two every year there. Maybe the DJs have a deep seated need to show off their dusty old vinyl collections. Maybe Sirius could add a second bluegrass channel? No, wait - if they did that, it would be a "Clear Channel" one and be packed with commercials. Can't win.

I apologize for the thread diversion and now return you to your normally scheduled thread.
