Several people have mentioned replacing the rubber seat bumpers with springs. The first year I had my tractor, one of the bumpers broke away, causing the seat to lurch sideways and break the seat bracket. After taking a look at the springs on my John Deere lawn mower, I decided to replace the bumpers with springs. I went to a local lawn mower repair shop and asked about springs. The owner had just parted out an old riding mower. I bought the set of seat springs for $3.50. They fit perfectly on my Yanmar and work great.

I have a john deere seat cover on order for my 3320 at my dealer. Cost 30 bucks, found it in the implement accessories catalog. There are two sizes, medium and large. Mine was a large part # lp95233. They also list a full tractor cover for compact utility tractors.......

Consider buying a molded plastic boat seat. that's what I have on mine and it is very comfy. They have snap on cushions, so in the winter you can bring them inside, extending their lifespan.

Tractor seats are way overpriced given the boating alternative.

TRUE !!!

Thank you for the Boat Seat idea, it sure is cheaper....

Also, what about a Small Office Chair? I found 1 FREE on trash day. It was perfectly fine, just whoever threw it out didn't know how to fix the Knob that raise up / down on the back. Stupid people = Free for U !!!

It's Metal underneath, so I drilled 4 holes and Bolt it on the Tractor. Comfee as he!! and best of all FREE :D

TIPS:

If you have " Rubber Tape Flashing can also help protect against wind-driven rain and air and defend against mold, mildew ". that would help too... You can cut the size you need, the self-adhering is a big plus... Easy on... You must put Electrical Tape around the edges... So it doesn't stick to your Booty, or make your Booty Black... Well unless your Booty is already Black... Then no worries, LMBAO = Laughin My Black Arse Off. :D

You can also use the Rubber Tape Flashing where you have two points meet so they don't scratch your Paint :D. I put a big piece on my Hood, now I don't have to worry lifting it up and Scatching it :D.

I was in our local John Deere dealer yesterday to pick up some maintenance items for my John Deere lawn mower. While there, I noticed some lawn mower seat covers. They retail for $27.99. I don't know if they will fit your tractor seat, but they might be worth checking on if you can live with the JD yellow.

I believe I saw the same JD seat covers at Lowes for about the same $.
