They would be the kind with the big chevron sorta, cleats. Mine are probably still a half inch up from the tire body but well rounded from the scrubbing that occurs during use. How close to the tire body can they get before they no longer support the rear tires well enough?
I'm afraid to ask about the rear tires. But hit me if you know. IIRC my rear tires are about 36" high.
