Grading Setting Up L3830 W/ Hydr Rear Blade

I would like to get some suggestions on how to set my L3830 with a hydro rear blade for snow removal. Here's some more info:

I know that hydro RB's are designed for larger machines, but this will be used only for snow removal. The job requires snow removal on about 10 long driveways and along several miles of remote road - very steep. Unimog mounted snow blowers have been used, but due to some rocks (that get turned up by blade work) they have had poor results.

The L3830 has a BH90, but no other rear hook-ups. Also, and probably most importantly, there is a Sims cab installed and we would like to control the blade from inside that warm baby. I currently have an 84" RB, which is not a problem in the snow (downhill). Anything too much bigger might be an issue when the blade is straight.

Well a rear remote will be needed to you can move it side to side. Some skid shoes so you don't drag up rocks or reduce the number of rock you pull up.

I have some experiance, not much, using a plow truck and the rear blade on my tractor. Both blades one can pull up rocks with out skid shoes. Using the RB backwards won't dig/pull up rocks. Holding the blade/plow up is another solution.

I am not sure I understand you correctly. The hydraulics would be a simple TnT would it not. The one problem would be the amount of stress you put on the lower links and where they attach to the axle. I snapped off one of my castings which required a new axle brake housing. I did it though with a boxblade while lifting a large buried rock, in reverse, top link being pulled in and 3 pt lift being lifted. I had a lot of force being applied.

I'm not sure if a TnT is enough, bcs the blade will also hve to "angle." This is my first tractor so I'm struggling through some of these terms. Also, there are hardly any tractors up here for me to look at and I've never seen a TnT personally - my only understanding of them is what I've read about on this forum.

My TnT also came with a 3rd hydraulic valve. I use it to operate my hydraulic rippers on my boxblade and my Harley landscape rake which again needs electrical connections to activate the solenoids to control the various hydraulic functions it has.

If you had Top, Tilt and Angle that all plug into quick connects/remotes that would be sweet.

What exactly are your requirements?

If you only need two functions you can always swap the hoses around in 30 seconds from TnT to TnA.

Why not just take a 7 1/2' truck plow and mount it on the FEL and use the bucket dump ports for thr hyd angling.Works for me.

AKKubota, TnT is just the hyd top link for blade cutter engagement and hyd side link for the blade side to side angle, if you get a third spool valve the you will be able to adj the fwd&aft angle. You need a three spool valve to operate your hyd blade easily. Here is a link to what mine looks like.
