This post refers to the next post by geneb846 - Somehow I saw his post, replied, but my post is showing up before his....

That is scary that people will tow a large piece of Eqpt without thinking about strapping it down. If for no other reason not to bust up their own stuff let alone everyone else safety.

No Chain, strap, lights or tag. Followed him for 10 or so miles then stopped in the road, in a curve to open the gate.

OMFG! That guy should loose his license, period! If it is his machine, you almost wish it would get smashed to sheit, to teach the guy a lesson.

Re: Wheel Loader, A real "Oh for F#^$ Sakes" Moment. That operator was quick in preventing his own upset, I have done the same thing with my loader. They can be very unstable! The hydraulics are very fast and if not for that, you couldn't do it in time.

Another dummy who doesn't think it is necessary to properly secure plywood to a utility trailer. Cuts and bruises for the occupants of the car hit by the plywood, lucky to be alive.

A few years back I called in a semi-truck that had a 6" slab on ice/snow on top of a container which was loosing softball to football sized chunks as they drove down the freeway. Their company safety person was VERY interested to hear it.

I have seen on the internet where semis and other large vehicles can drive under a framework and it scraps the snow off. I don't know ow it would work on motor homes/campers that have roof items like ac units. Jon
