I can buy miles of zip ties or tape for $40, and since I pretty much always use more than 2 straps, I'd be realistically looking at $80 or $120 for those things. I hate to rain on anyone's entrepreneurial idea, but this one seems to be more expensive and less convenient than conventional solutions.

I actually just run the end back along the strap, wrap it around once, and pull a half loop thru. Big giant slip knot. If I'm making a long trip, I throw another half hitch on it as a lock stitch. Free, no waste, comes out easily, and nothing extra to carry with me.

I usually stick the slack in the truck toolboxes. I also carry some 10ft chains on the truck that go nicely across the truck without much slack to deal with.

If enough people order wrap a doodle doos that guy can buy a decent tractor and a corset.
Reminds me of Fred Sanford selling Whopper Choppers.

The phrase, "a solution hunting for a problem," comes to mind.

I use dog collars from the "dollar" store to keep them wrapped for storage. Could also get small cat/dog collars to keep tails secure. Haven't tried it yet, but next time I'm near a store, I will pick a couple up and try!

Another idea would be to use a sock that has worn through at hole or toe.

I just use velcro for strap management, you can buy a 60ft roll of 3/4" for about $13. It's reusable, works for storage and excess strap management. I keep the roll in the truck in case I need extra, just cut off a piece the size you need.
