Shibaura SD 1800 injector pump issue

Hello,

I have a Shibaura SD 1800 that has an injector pump that is bad. Where can I find a rebuild kit or replacement pump and the diagram for it?

How do u know it’s bad.?

There is plenty of fuel going to it but there is none coming out the injector lines.

Has it sat for long.??
The pumps control rack is probably stuck..
U have to remove it to replace or repair it so, take it out and verify the rack is stuck..
U can do more harm than good if u try to free it up..

U can find removal instructions on utube in the Kubota section.. they’re all basically the same..
1 word of warning, if it has an electric shut off and the solenoid is screwed into the pumps mounting block, just left of the inj pump… IT MUST COME OUT FIRST..

That’s a KIKI PES PUMP..
DO NOT SCRAPE THE NAME PLATE.. EVER..

There is no kit.. u have to order everything separately by the part number..
Not fun.. especially if u don’t know the pump.
If your thinking about removing the side cover, DONT TRY IT.. unless you have a #1 Phillips head bit and a hand impact driver and hammer..
The screws are VERY TIGHT and they’re soft.. you’ll round the heads in a heartbeat.!! IF u don’t use an impact driver..
U need special tools to get it all the way apart..
Save yourself the heart ache..

No “hard parts” are available.. only gaskets..
