Should I keep or sell my R1's?

I have had my Tractor for almost 6 years now and it came with R-1's. I wanted more stability and the R-1's tore up the lawn so I added the Hoye Turf tire kit.

I kept the R1's all this time thinking there might be a need for me to swap them on, but that day has not come. Is it worth it to keep them in storage in case I ever sell the tractor as an added value? They have cracks like all of the originals I have seen and they hold air. I have no doubt they have lots of life left in them. They are bridgestones. The rears are 9.5-24's and the fronts are 6-14's. Should I sell them and if so what the value of the tires and rims?

My org. Bridgestone 9.5 24 have cracks and plenty of tread. If I would try and sell them I may as well give them away. I won't get much for them. I can buy R1-3/4 tread left all day for 100.00 each with rims. So there's not much market for dry rotted tires. Not in my area anyways. I know Hartford Ct. all to well so I highly doubt any difference there.

I'd probably sell as well. The market around here would probably be pretty poor in which case one has to ask "Would I give these away just to get the space". When the answer to that is yes, it's time to get rid of them at any price. I agree about the R1s really tearing things up. Now if you change your mind and want to get rid of the turfs, let me know.

One vote here for keeping them.

Or at least put them on Ebay etc to reach a broad market and ask top dollar. Anybody looking for Yanmar wheels knows the wheels are very expensive and having usable tires on them is a bonus.

If they are the same or close to whats on a John deere 750 compact tractor . I will have to check with a buddy of mine . if the bolt pattern is the same . Only problem is the distance to maryland

I too have a set, yours are in better condition than mine.... Can't make my mind up if i want to keep them either, only been a couple months though.

Lots of votes to sell....so California, what would your reason be for keeping them? And you a probably right ebay would be the way to go to sell them. Anyone have any idea what they are worth? $400? $800? More? Less?
