Show All User\'s Posts - Lag

Usually there is about a day lag between when a person posts and it is viewable from the link <font color="blue"> Show all user's posts </font> . It seems as though very early on Aug 2, is when things have started to hang. This is actually about the same time the upload of attachments were having problems.

Just my observations.

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but early this spring I thought the lag time was less than an hour. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm having trouble there too.
I tried to search for a post I'd made earlier this week. The latest post (using the "Newer then 1 week" feature was from 08/02/05...a week ago.

Are we having problems here?

I just returned from a 5 day trip and went back to catch up on previous posts, and it's behind by a week as mentioned.
Must be a real overload problem.
I sure miss it when trying to keep up with threads. But then, probably just spoiled by the times when posts were 'posted' right away. Probably what happens when the forum grows and grows, which is, for the most part, a good thing. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Maybe the admins will bring us up to date.

Yep, it's a week behind, but I know Muhammad and crew are very busy right now.

Not to re-direct the thread entirely, but is there any way that a User can see all his/her posts from the "My Home" screen?

For me to review an old post of my own currently, I have to find another (randomly) post of mine, and then click on myself and then click on "Show All User's Posts." If the information is sorted by all user's posts anyway, why don't the mods add it to the Home Page.

Perhaps I missed something, and this info is available on Home Page. If so, please someone show me, and my apologies....

tracdoc,

The way I "work around" this issue to to click on "Who's Online?", then click on my name (usually at the top of the list), then "Show all user's posts".

Thanks, Bill. Your work-around is a much better method, until hopefully the mods consider adding something to Home Page.
