Hello all, looking for any guidance or thoughts on a sickle bar for a B1700 HSD. Looking to mow some grass around my ponds, nothing crazy light duty stuff.
- Looking for something that needs some work or maybe light modifications. Not planning on using it more than a few times a year so a new one is out of the price range.
- I am mechanically inclined and decent with a mig welder.
- Had a Farmall A with a sickle bar for years when I was a kid, so I am really familiar with rivets, cutters and guides.
- Have seen a few sickle bars out there but not sure which ones would bolt up to my tractor, anybody know of a "compatibility guide"?
- Any links to others project pages would be great.
- Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated.
