I have Wrangler Silent Armors on my 2007 Dodge 4x4 and they are great tires. I would say they are a little aggresive for a street tire but not too aggresive. Great in the snow. I am not at all suprised that people say they are wearing quickly. They appear to be a pretty soft compound, which gives them terrific dry and wet weather traction. I haven't really had them in the mud yet, but I would say they would do good but not great.
