I often need a shovel when I am working with gravel or dirt, and I got tired of having the shovel bounce out of the bucket or off the 3-point when travelling, so I finally got around to making a simple holder. I noticed the loader mounting arms had pre-drilled, unused holes on the back side: 25/64th... just right for 7/16 x 20 tapping.
I had some scrap steel items: 1 1/2" galv. steel pipe, a heavy dished washer with a hole in the center (from a suspension bushing, I'd guess) and a heavy steel U bracket that was just the right curvature to fit the pipe. Some cutting and welding, some primer and paint, and ta da. No more shovel on the lane problems.
