thanks for the input. it works as it should; and pulls like a mule. I had it serviced by the Farmi dealer in Wisconsin a few years back. Big John (3020) has over 9300 hours on him and I have retired him to just Chipping. I bought a Volvo MC115 with a log grapple that does what I need.

I have a Farmi JL 306 3pt logging winch for farm tractors. This is rated for a 30-60 hp tractor. It will hook up to either category 1 or 2 - 3 pt hitch. I had it serviced at a dealer in Wisconsin about 5 years ago. This winch is ready to yard some wood. Cable is in great shape has about 60 feet of 3/8s cable on drum with an additional spare100 ft. I added the I beam to the bottom of the legs for added bite and stability in the ground. I was going to paint the rig but then people think I'm hiding something.
