This is gonna be kinda hard to explain, but here goes..
SLT 1554, the OG engine decided to split the case about 55 hrs in, so I motor-swapped it with a 27HP B&S twin and it's been fine ever since (currently at around 220hrs)..
However, about 2-3 seasons ago, the park brake lever decided to not break, but not hold the brake pedal in place, either. I have had the body off of it a couple times, but still no joy in fixing it.
I have a service manual but only thing I find on parking brake is how to adjust the actual brake, not the latching lever, itself.
Any thoughts or words of wisdom?
