I am looking to find ablower that will handle really wet snow that I can fit onto my antonio carrero ttr4400 . I have 35hp and a revesable seat. I have looked at the zaugg blowers but the cost is a bit high for me as this is a hobby machine primarily.

The wetter the snow the more HP you will need - or you need to take a smaller bite (or buy a smaller snow blower). With only 35HP then just get a blower that covers your tracks and pray you have enough power to move it. Keeping your chute angle high helps to keep the snow from clogging (IMO).

I would just go with a 60" blower if you really get a lot of wet snow. It would be nice to have a wide blower for powder and a narrow blower for slush.

I have a hard time taking narrow swathes. I just want to get the job done so I keep trying to take a bigger bite and then - bam - the chute gets clogged. :(

I've always thought that higher RPM would help. My Honda walk behind handles wet snow very well. My Ford (540 RPM) blower plugs easily.

I'l like to find a blower that gears up the 540 PTO to about 1500 RPM.

any idea on what brand you would choose for a blower?

There's a lot of good blowers out there,
my experience says to look for ones with
the largest fan diameter for best throwing
performance.
In Ca. , Normand makes their commercial duty
ones, and their lighter Econor models. We have
good luck with them here in Upstate NY.
Loftness makes a very heavy snowblower also.
Rad is good, their blizzard. Buhler/Allied...
lots to chose from. I'd find someplace local
that deals with a good unit so you can get parts
and service if needed.

One trick I have used over the years is to spray the chute and auger with silcone spray before and during snow season, especialy when I have to deal with heavy wet snow. I use a Bobcat S130 with a hyraulic blower for heavy snow removal. In spite of my best efforts I have also managed to plug the blower solid with with ice and snow. Heavy wet snow is difficult to handle no matter which way you choose to remove/relocate it. Roger
