Is the K-Connect blower overpriced? YES. Do I love it? YES!! LOL
This thing is a blast to run! It was great with the Boss plow on it, but for me I think this is even better.

I've never put ballast, but I had to bring firewood to house, so figured I'd just leave some in the dump box. Will only help with even more traction.

And now that it has quit raining and melting and we had some minus 40, think I will reset the skid shoes again so it's not building base any more.

if you put it full RPM, it is a bit loud. Not overpowering loud, you can still hear radio but it is loud. But if you leave the RPM down a bit it is not bad at all.
It still blows fine at less than max RPM, but if you have real wet heavy snow, full RPM will keep chute from plugging.

I have only plugged the chute once, but that was in very wet, full blower height snow, and I discovered I did not have the manual throttle pulled all the way up, LOL

It honestly is very impressive for the little horsepower it has.
But it is also a little scary of how complicated it is compared to a blower on a tractor.
